Civil Air Patrol’s Woodfield Composite Squadron Supports EAA at their Father's Day Pancake Breakfast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
18 June, 2006

Again this year, Woodfield Composite Squadron supported the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 153 in their annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast fly-in at Schaumburg Regional Airport (06C). This event draws thousands of local pilots and non-pilots who sit in the main hanger and share their love of all things aerospace. Civil Air Patrol supports the event by helping with crowd control and flight line operations. In return, EAA allows CAP to have a recruiting booth, display a glass cockpit 182, as well as hold a raffle which brought in more than $700. This years raffle included a $20 gift certificate from Pilot Pete's restaurant at schaumburg Airport, an iPod Nano, and a lakeshore discovery flight donated by Northwest Aviation at Schaumburg Airport
